Inauguration of IEEE Control Systems Society-Bangalore Chapter was manged by Neo Events Bangalore team at the  Aerospace engineering department campus of Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.The event was a great success.
The IEEE Control Systems Society is an international scientific, engineering, and professional organization that was founded in 1954 and is dedicated to the advancement of research, development, and practice in automation and control systems. The society and its members are involved in a number of activities, including publishing journals and a magazine, holding a number of conferences, and sponsoring committees in various areas of technical specialization and other member interest.

Established in 1909, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is widely recognized to be the best and most prolific scientific and engineering institute for advanced research in India. IISc is ranked higher than any other Indian university in world university rankings. Many of India’s most distinguished scientists have been associated with the Institute. The Institute also hosts many distinguished visitors from India and abroad every year (including nobel laureates) and is the venue for many major national and international academic events. Major research areas of the department include advanced guidance and control of flight vehicles, aerospace electronic systems, development of unmanned and micro aerial vehicles, helicopter dynamics and control, image classification and vision guidance, fundamental and computational aspects of fluid dynamics, high enthalpy aerodynamics, experimental aerodynamics, shock wave applications, non-destructive evaluation and structural health monitoring, composite materials and structures, smart and multifunctional materials and systems, micro and nanotechnologies, multi-body systems, nonlinear mechanics, combustion and propulsion etc. The research focus has recently been broadened beyond traditional aerospace engineering by including various evolving aspects of autonomous flight, modern guidance and control techniques, bio-inspired designs, human factors, nano-bio technologies etc. A guided tour for various facilities of he department can be arranged for intrested participants.
